Clarion Hotel Fort Mill Near Amusement Park, Fort Mill

The hotel's location is unbeatable, just south of Charlotte and right off the interstate. The rooms were decent for the price, although mine faced a bright light post outside which made it hard to sleep. The staff was polite and sweet, but there were issues like a disabled smoke detector that need attention. The convenience of the hotel's location is a major plus, especially if you're visiting Carowinds Amusement Park. However, some aspects feel awkward and in need of improvement.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were good value with a microwave, mini-fridge, king-size bed, and TV, but they had a strong smell of smoke and stained carpets. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff, especially Adam at the front desk. The location was convenient with a perfect distance and view of Carowinds, although there were some cleanliness issues like ink stains on the carpet. The dining experience was average, lacking a continental breakfast and needing improvements. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price.
